The first half of 2017's Awkward show has sadly been lost to the gremlins of audio production, but two stories from the second half of the show have been featured on this podcast already, so it's time for the third (and final) Awkward story! It was told by writer and first-time performer Melissa Sheely, who shared the time her awkwardness sabotaged what should have been just a fun trip to the movies. From Melissa's Odyssey bio:
Melissa Sheely is an aspiring indie author, office manager who makes sure bills are paid, and a single mother of two girls. She has been stumbling along this world trying to be an excellent example to her girls and just be a decent human being. In her short 30 years, she has experienced much and uses those lessons to guide her.
This episode was performed and recorded in front of a live audience at The Screening Room in Tucson, AZ, on April 6th, 2017, and was curated by Roscoe Mutz. For more information about Odyssey Storytelling, please visit www.odysseystorytelling.com
